Membership Info

The aim of the Watertown Art League is to promote and stimulate interest and activity in the visual arts.

Meetings are the second Monday of the month at 7pm and are held at 

First Congregational Church | 40 DeForest St. Watertown, CT 06795

 

Membership Registration

Your membership entitles you to:

  • Notification of meetings and activities by email or mail

  • Attend our meetings which feature lectures and demonstrations by prominent artists

  • Participate in sponsored workshops at member discount

  • Participate in the Annual Fall Festival of Art Show and a Spring Juried Show

  • Receive discounted entry fees

  • Invitation to exhibit in group showings throughout the Greater Waterbury Area

  • Have the advantage of the League's publicity and website. Links to members' websites and other art leagues and opportunity to display your paintings on the WAL website

  • Meet new artists, keep informed about the art world, and make use of the opportunities to develop your skills as an artist

  • Your membership helps support the continuation of the Watertown Art League that has been in existence for over 50 years
